NoR: Lord Thorvek Dathas

Lord Thorvek Dathas is a member of the Drissian Nobility. He is a man of tall (and wide) stature in the mess of politics. He eats decently, and is one of the few nobles who isn't interested in his own advancement.

Thorvek believes Drissa has the potential to rise from the current mess, and become one of the greatest nations in Ruhgaia, and he might be correct. He is a firm supporter of several members of the current government, and is the owner of one of Drissa's printing presses. Unlike the others, his goal is to tell the truth, no matter how dark it is.

However, no noble is entirely pure. Lord Thorvek has a hatred of illegal immigrants. Indeed, if rumors are to be believed, Thorvek actually has ties with Scathenwheld, trading captured illegal immigrants for steel. Such actions could explain how this man maintains his wealthy stature.

Politically, he has many enemies. As such, he wears an enchanted iron breastplate whenever he is outside his manor, to protect himself from harm.

His home is possibly the cleanest district in Drissa, as the surrounding streets are kept clear of rabble with a group of private enforcers, who are far more effective than the corrupted police. (Private enforcer: [link] )

He is one of the main contributors to rebuilding efforts, and is always willing to offer advice to higher-ups.
